We drew another blank yesterday as Sottovoce’s challenge petered out in the final furlong after racing very prominently throughout. In the end, he wasn’t even able to hang on the third place, missing out by a neck.

I’ve decided to go back to “horses for courses” basics today for my second attempt at getting a runner today!
With this in mind, I’ve taken an E/W chance on Nolecce: a consistent enough and very versatile/durable perfomer. He has won in heavy conditions in the past and looks very reasonably treated at the weights. He has won four times from 1m to 1m 2f on good to firm and heavy ground and on the all-weather. He was well beaten last time out, but that was over a longer trip than today: today’s 1m 1f should be the best for him and if he can run like he did at kempton when winning in March, I should get a nice return on the 10/1 E/W BOG on offer from both ladbrokes & betVictor, but you can always…
