Good luck Sunchu, plenty I shortlisted tonight but just 2 I’ve had a bet on today, although I may well back the stat of the day later.
CHAMPAGNE CHAMP 410 Nottingham I have backed at 20-1 each-way
Top on SR, Danny Tudhope has ridden it once and won on it. Indeed, Danny and the trainer Rod Millman trainer/jockey combo is 7 runners, 2 wins and 4 places. Millman’s 5 year course form is 22 runners, 3 winners, 7 places and in all races he shows a profit.
I think the horse’s optimum trip is 1m 6f and his record at the distance is 6 runs, 2 wins and 4 places. He’s drawn in stall 4 and I’m hoping Danny can get a tow off Marmajuke Bay who is likely to lead from stall 1.
May very well flop but too big at 20-1 for me.

The 740 at Catterick is like an episode of Wacky Races, all the usual types racing against each other again. I’ve had a bet each-way on SIR GEOFFREY at 14-1. He is likely to dispute the lead with Lady Joanna Vassa and they will not hang about. He is off 50 today and has won off 50+ on 10 occasions., His record at Catterick over 5f is 14 runs, 2 wins, 4 places but under his jockey Paddy Pilley, something clicks, they are 5 runs overall, 2 wins, 4 places including a 1st and 2nd at Catterick from just 2 pairings together. Again he may flop and his recent record is uninspiring, but enough juice at 14-1 to have a punt.

Others of interest that were given a deep look but I didn’t back were
ENDAEVOUR 220 Wolverhampton
EMPRESS ALI 440 Notttingham (very close to a bet)
POYLE THOMAS 310 Newbury (put off by trainer’s stats)
ESTREELA ERIA 725 Newmarket
FLORENZA 755 Newmarket, Chris Fairhurst in great form and Spencer is 1/1 for him

Good luck all
