Saturday was tough, and I tend to agree with the ‘no betting’ mantra due to the competitiveness. That said, there are always exceptions, and I felt that Easter Day was a very good bet.
Of course, it fell. And, to add insult to injury, the other horse I selected in that race for Double Dutch won (as did the second leg).
I’ve had one of those weeks where the crossbar has been rattled many times, but I’ve ended up losing 2-0.
Onwards, and I’ve had a small each way on another hopeless outsider in Premier Sagas. On his old form, he’d eat these, and he’s been dropped over a stone for a year off and pulling up on his return (which he was entitled to need).
Aged 11, he could have gone at the game, but he has a good ‘no name’ trainer in William Kinsey, and is worth the chance at 33’s.
Good luck everyone.
p.s. Fiscal Focus at Leopardstown?!!
