Walden Prince ran just a fair race yesterday when attempting to make all, without being disgraced.
More to the point, I’ve decided to get a bit more organised as of today, as it’s often unclear what are my strongest bets and which horses represent value, etc.
I’ll start with my shortlists. If you apply a little selectivity to the list you will make money as they highlight the right type of horse to back. You want to be averaging about one bet per day using the short list as your entry point.
Today’s shortlist is…

Salisbury 3.45 Mayfair Lady
Salisbury 4.15 Wordcraft
Haydock 4.40 Salieris Mass

Here’s my take on the list.
Mayfair Lady is a progressive filly who spreadeagled the field in a York nursery. Comes out joint best here on adjusted official ratings and requires serious consideration.
Wordcraft is a filly I just can’t get right. She probably needs to be relatively fresh and will probably bolt up here as I’ll be opposing her today.
Salieris Mass has more on his plate than when turned over at Newmarket last time out but heralds from a bang-in-form yard and can’t be fully discounted.
But for my best of the day, I’ll be weighing in with…

Salisbury 3.45 MAYFAIR LADY

…which is a highlighted horse as opposed to a 1 pt recommended bet.
