Manger Hanagment never went a yard at Stratford yesterday and my first thought was that the horse was a proverbial ‘flesh and blood’ bet. But in hindsight, he may of just sulked having been unable to establish the lead. Either way it’s another losing bet, which hopefully won’t be the case today, where we have a shortlist of…

Yarmouth 2.50 Cartago
Yarmouth 3.50 Sealife
Yarmouth 5.20 Injun Sands

Cartago improved for the step up to a mile at Windsor last time out and heralds from the bang-in-form John Gosden yard.
Sealife’s defeat at Newbury earlier in the season was put down to the ground, despite having won a maiden on similar going first time up at Windsor.
Injun Sands looked unlucky the outing before last at Haydock when beaten a neck having been denied a clear run, but failed to build on that at Chelmsford last time.

This is tricky, but I’d say the safest bet is probably…

Yarmouth 2.50 CARTAGO

…who I’ll put up as my best of the day. But only as a highlighted horse as opposed to a 1 pt recommended bet given the stiffer test here course-wise, and the faster ground.
