Good Contact never really got going at Chester yesterday and probably falls short in Class 2 company, so I’ll swiftly move on to today ‘s shortlist, which is…
Curragh 3.55 True Solitaire
Epsom 2.40 King’s Pavillion
Musselburgh 4.10 Invoke (Non-Runner)
True Solitaire is progressive and comes out clear best of those horses with an official rating. Was a beaten favourite on the fastest ground he’s encountered to date on seasonal debut, so possibly wouldn’t want it to dry up too much here.
King’s Pavillion has been found a good opportunity now that Steel Of Madrid has been taken out , and the return to a mile will suit.
Invoke is a non-runner.
I like both of these, but for my best of the day I’m going for…
Epsom 2.40 KING’S PAVILLION
…who can get back to winning ways here, but he has more of a highlighted horse look bout him as opposed to a 1 pt recommended bet, as he’s not exactly infallible.
