Mia’s Anthem got the job done in fair style st Sedgefield yesterday, running out a convincing 5l winner and travelling well throughout, returned at a BSP of 5.1 (7-2 BOG).
Today’s shortlist consists of…

Huntingdon 2.40 Keychain
Musselburgh 3.00 Ghostly Arc
Musselburgh 4.00 Silver Shuffle

Keychain is not the most straightforward. His record going right-handed is modest to say the least, and it’s hard to argue that 2m4f is his optimum trip either.
Ghostly Arc finished behind Nomenklatura last time having attempted to make all. Is drawn widest of all today and has two other potential pace setters on his inside, and his best form to date has been on tracks with a stiff finish.
Silver Shuffle was beaten a neck at Catterick last time, and although not the most prolific, is consistent and should run his race here. Though, as noted yesterday, Dianne Sayer has gone some six weeks without saddling a winner.

A weak shortlist with Silver Shuffle emerging slightly best, but I’m going to let these three run and hope I don’t shoot myself in the foot again like I did with Bulletproof last Thursday.
