Where do I start !? Just to preface my thoughts on avoiding restrictions first… I’m restricted by skybet, william hill, bet victor, betfair sportsbook, betfred / totesport and betway which means mickey mouse bets varying from maybe €0.68 to €2.43 to at most 50 ew with hills or victor in a big market, also BOG withdrawn on all of them. Punters may know of the Sporting Life football accum, sponsored by Sky, Ican’t even put a fiver on that with Sky! I cannot bet at all with Coral, they never restricted or closed my account, I just physically cannot place a bet, it keeps rejecting. Bet365 closed my account themselves and refunded my balance of 200 ish. I mainly use the exchanges and the remaining 4 bookies: PP, Lads, Boyles and Stan James and I have to say I’ve never had any problems with them. As for avoiding restrictions I would say keep stakes less than 25 ew, in round numbers obviously or multiples of 5, do not bet on early evening prices for the next day, especially if you are consistently beating SP by a lot and with winning bets, obviously do not systematically use every free offer and money back and free bet. People say not to withdraw money but I don’t think it matters, now I wouldn’t withdraw huge sums naturally but drip feed it out. Don’t frequently email them complaining of bets being wrongly settled etc or they will get annoyed and spite you, yes! People also say bet in the casino but again I don’t think it matters and why would you anyway? People also say don’t link directly from an oddschecker or similar site which I think makes sense. If you have pseudo accounts then generally don’t use your wife or sister or any female, and definetly not your gran as traders know that ladies in general rarely bet beyond the £2 ew on the National so 70 year old Mrs Jones isn’t going to put her entire pension for the week on a 8/1 shot on a Monday in Windsor.
