In Matt’s absence, I believe I can shed some light on this. The short answer is that a horse must’ve won (or placed, depending on if you are looking at Win or Place version of the report) at least 3 times at one of today’s conditions. So in that same race Avidity got on to the Shortlist as it has won 3 times from 5 starts in the same field size as today’s race.

The full explanation can be found here:

Phil and Sunchu too quick for me tonight – they’ve both posted thoughts on tomorrow’s racing already. Replicating them here so they don’t get overlooked.

    From Phil:
tomorrow Magic magnolia 4.10 war ticks alot of stat boxes, trainer/jockey combo, first time in handicap and first ride for trainer, ranging between 11/4 and 2/1 as i write on early prices. Also top shortlist for tmorrow a big price at 18/1.

    And from Sunchu:
two for tomorrow rock canyon 2.50 ayr and victoire de lyphar 3.20 ayr

    Hi Telme2

When viewing the Trainer Stats (and similar) reports, if you click on the trainer his runners for that day will be displayed right under his name. You can click on each trainer in turn to expand them all, or just click on any that you are interested in.

While catching up on today’s racing thread I noticed this posted by Sunchu relating to Monday’s racing. Replicating here so no-one misses it:

“no luck this weekend looking at desert law 3.50 redcar tomorrow that was a good race he finished 3rd in at York drawn with the pace in tomorrows race 3/1 not a great price but think it will end up shorter win bet”

Sondrio, have a great time in Lanzarote. I went a few years ago, had a great time. If you haven’t been before, hire a car and tour the island – it’s beautiful.

Sits well alongside Let’s Get Serious from the Trainer Change report. It won the 18:45 at Fontwell……..at 50/1!

Moving swiftly on, it must be time to gloss over today and starting thinking about tomorrow!

I’m confused as to why some people couldn’t see today’s thread as I started it at 8:13pm yesterday and all the posts have been appearing on it.

If there is anything mystic going on it certainly didn’t involve me. In which case, avoid Kool Kompany in the 3:45 as that’s where my money is!
