Geegeez System Reviews Update 14/01/15
Welcome to the latest weekly update of the active trials currently featured in our System Trial section of the site. We know that you are contacted on a daily basis to try the new latest, can't be beaten service etc etc, so what we do here is try it out for you over a 2 month period and you can see how they perform on a free-to-view basis.
Once we've reviewed them, we'll either approve them or we'll tell you why we haven't given them the thumbs up, then you can make your decision whether or not to make a purchase. We don't get paid to review services, nor do we get paid to approve them. We run an impartial service and would only ever recommend a service to you that we'd be happy to use.
We would, however, receive a small commission from the vendor if you bought a reviewed service through one of our highlighted links. This doesn't affect the price you pay and the monies we receive help to fund the running of the site. Everything we do is totally transparent, we are, of course, very aware that this isn't the case everywhere online!
So, on to this week's update and the bottom line is that January is proving very difficult for commercial services to provide profit for their subscribers. I've personally found a combination of poor quality races with few runners in terrible conditions not exactly conducive to making money and although out current leaderboard shows an overall profit of almost £1175 between our 11 trial services , the fact of the matter is that those figures are skewed by Unity Racing Club's £1442 surplus.
Six other services are in profit, whilst four are in the red, but between the 10 of them, there's actually an overall loss of almost £270, making Unity Racing Club a big fish in a small pond.

On a weekly basis, there was a combined loss of just over £192 despite 7 services showing a profit, one breaking even and just three losing money. The problem is that the profits were all modest, whilst the losses were pretty heavy. Our best return over the week was actually newcomer Alec Pearce from BetAdvisor with again of £34, Unity Racing Club made another £26.65 to extend their lead, whilst The Young Ones chipped in with £20.
By contrast at the other end of the scale, three services lost £324.86 and you'll not be surprised to see that they're our current overall bottom three. Easy Tips lost a further £86.40 and continue to sit bottom of the pile, over £150 adrift of another BetAdvisor newcomer John Sills, who had a bit of a nightmare start to his trial, losing almost £116 in the first nine days. And our weekly/overall bottom three is completed by Steve Good Racing, who seems to have imploded of late, losing £210 in the last 10 days (-£122.50 this week) to now find himself £57 the wrong side of break even!
Having read the reviews thoroughly, I've no recommendations to make to you this week. However, if I was to suggest a couple to keep an eye on, it would probably be Unity Racing Club who although aren't ripping trees up at present, have already proved they can make profits and also Alex Pearce, who has made a slow and steady, but profitable start to his review.
