Anthony Honeyball Stable Tour 2015/16

In this video, Anthony Honeyball runs the rule over his string ahead of the 2015/16 season. I've attached some notes onto slides in support of the audio, which might help. Also below are 'chapter' marks, so you can skip to a specific horse if you'd like.

Big thanks to Anthony for taking an hour and a half to speak at length about his horses. [And apologies if I sound like my dentures are falling out in the early part of the chat!]

Great listen, as last year was. Stable tours and stable tour reviews are always fascinating. Just wondered why Lamanver Alchemy and Midnight Tune were not mentioned? Appreciate a lot were mentioned and the length of the audio but they were two who looked as potentially exciting as a few mentioned? (to my untrained eye, anyway!) Just one more! Has TGG had a wind op over summer? From comments about 3m being his trip but didn’t quite get home??

      Hi Jim

Good to hear from you. How’s things?

Lamanver has sadly moved to another yard, from where she ran fairly moderately the other day. Midnight Tune is still in the yard, and I forgot to ask about her. She’s entered for Saturday but I don’t think she runs because of the ground.

As for TGG, absolutely no wind op. He’s as clean as a whistle and as straight as a die. He wasn’t getting home over three miles for the same reason I wouldn’t: because his stamina gave out, not his breathing!

His trip looks to be more like 2m4f – at least that’s what he’ll be campaigned at to begin with, and we’ll see how we go.

      Best,
      Matt
