Coming Soon to Geegeez Racecards…

New jockey report functionality!

New jockey report functionality!

Here at geegeez, we're committed to providing the most informative, easy to use, and best value UK racing form information on the 'net.

To that end, we already have incredible and unique features, such the Race Analysis Report - a single 'snapshot' view of the entire form for all horses in a race - and our Pace Analysis Report, which shows the likely shape of a race - and which horses will be suited/unsuited by it - before it's been run.

But we're always looking to improve, and today I'd like to share a short video insight into the next phase - Phase 6 - of the geegeez race card and form study development programme.

It includes some enhancements to existing content, like the addition of ranges for the Race Analysis Report (this enables users to select, for instance, Class 3 to Class 5, rather than the previous static presentation of today's race class). Or how about having the tipping league integrated right within the cards? There will no longer be a need to go elsewhere to enter your fancies.

We've also got new reports, new indicators, and new tips. Watch the video below to reveal all!

Can you see the fate of the favourites over the last ten or twenty years, only seem to get this in the RP paper. Would be nice the be able to quickly check especially if you are laying favourites to be able to identify bad races for them.

      Hi Rob

No, I’m afraid not. I simply don’t believe it’s a meaningful statistic, except at a track wide level. Even then, it can vary greatly from race type to race type.

      Best,
      Matt

Keep on pushing those boundaries – these are some excellent improvements and tweaks, and the cards just get better and better.

Looking really useful! Can or does the ODDS update? or are they shown as first entered?

  4. davidt says:

All good stuff! Have you been able to do anything with the full form filters, when the going has changed, which in turn would also affect the today filter option?

    • Matt Bisogno says:

      Hi David

Nothing as yet, I’m afraid. Basically, we’re reliant on the data we receive for automatic changes. That means going amendments will almost always be a case of the user checking and addressing (which, incidentally, is good practice in any case!).

I would like the FFF to be more agile, and this is a Phase 7 candidate.

      Best,
      Matt

Any further update on the availability of the Best Of table the night before racing? Thanks

    • Matt Bisogno says:

Yes, it’ll be there within the next two to three weeks. In Phase 6b, along with the other ‘tomorrow’ reports. 🙂

Great update Matt – I think the shortlisting facility is a particularly useful addition especially when using race trends to reduce selections from relatively large fields. Great stuff – my gold lifetime membership is providing fantastic value! Best, Mark J

    • Matt Bisogno says:

      Thanks a lot, Mark.

What’s really heartening from my perspective is the range of different features/enhancements that people are looking forward to. That suggests we’re on the right track, which is great news.

      Best,
      Matt

Onwards and upwards Matt! Any chance of including some information on draw bias for each course at some point in the future?

    • Matt Bisogno says:

      Hi Arthur

I’m not really planning to do anything more on draw bias. The main reason, as I’ve alluded to in other bits and bobs, is that I don’t believe it’s nearly as simple as ‘high favoured’ or ‘low slight advantage’.

Rather, I believe that in the majority of cases, it is much more important to be drawn on ‘the right side’. The right side is the side with the majority of early pace, which is where the pace tab comes in so very handy!

      Best,
      Matt

Excellent stuff Matt. I realise you can’t do everything at once, but another useful addition to the RAR’s may be how a horse performs going left and right handed. (obviously not applicable to a race run on a straight track!) . Keep up the great work!

  9. grahame18 says:

great cards Matt makes finding winners a lot easier.is there a way of checking for a number of times a horse as won over CD. THANKS

    • Matt Bisogno says:

      Hi Graham

Yes, on the Full Form Filter, click the ‘course’ and ‘distance’ check boxes. You’ll need to manually count the number of times, but it will be from a specific shortlist.

      Best,
      Matt

  10. Stourblue says:

Love how these cards are developing and that would enhance it if we could know how horses perform right or left handed
