Brighton:

Brighton offered one of the best favourite return ratios during their first four meetings last year as 14/30 races were won by market leaders.  Indeed, no less than twenty five gold medallists scored at odds of 9/1 or less.  Nailing down successful trainers proved more difficult however, as only Bill Turner (16/1 & 14/1), Mark Usher (3/1* & 11/4*) and John Bridger (4/1 & 7/4*) managed two winners apiece during the period.

Wolverhampton:

With a ratio of 7/11 at Wolverhampton, La Estrella will be all the rage if taking up this option this week, albeit his 13/13 Southwell record makes the Dunstall Park percentage look positively poor!
