In form jockey Frankie Dettori scored an impressive treble on Thursday at Lingfield, which included two Listed events, finishing off the day with three victories from three outings.
The first victory for the jockey came aboard the Saeed Bin Suroor trained Quick Wit in the seven furlong Lingfield Park Breeders' Day Handicap, where his mount was never in any real danger, crossing the line a length and a half the better of Mr Willis, with Seek The Fair Land just a further neck behind in third place.
The jockey's next victory was in the first of two Listed races, the EBF Normanadie Stud Fleur De Lys Fillies' Stakes, again aboard a Saeed Bin Suroor charge, Aspectoflove, who challenged Ryan Moore mount Mosqueras Romance to hit the lead in the last strides, snatching a victory by a short head, with third placed Forest Crown back a further half a length.
Completing the treble in the next event, the Listed EBF Cockney Rebel First Crop Success River Eden Fillies Stakes, Dettori on Baila Me, again trained by Saeed Bin Suroor, gave an impressive front running showing, narrowly headed over one furlong out, but staying on with a strong run in to just get there in a photo finish from Rosika by a nose, with Giants Play half a length behind in third place.
After treating the racing crowd to his traditional flying dismount, Dettori said:,"It's a lucky meeting for me. Last year, I needed three winners to get to 100 wins and I rode four.
"I've got three again today. All three were good chances and are a great credit to Godolphin."
Godolphin representative Diana Cooper praised the victories saying, "Frankie has brought them all home in typical Frankie fashion. It is wonderful to win.
"Baila Me just loves this time of year and showed great form to get her head back in front.
"There's not really anything else for her at this time of year so we'll have to see if we keep her in training or not."
