Football Betting Code Review

Football Betting Code

Football Betting Code: Code Breaker, or Code Red?!

A new football betting service, called Football Betting Code, landed on my virtual desk today. It appears to be from the Rochdale Road gang and, if you're familiar with this crew, then you'll understand me immediate concerns about the product.

First, though, let me get the administration out of the way. It's an email advisory service, it costs £29 one off for six months (strange for an advisory service, more alarm bells ringing), and there's nowhere to unsubscribe at the bottom of the email (the alarms on the alarm bells are now ringing!).

This looks like a total list-building tool for the scammers. And, whilst I suspect that's what it is, I'll keep the faith for a few days, and track the results on this page. So, before this kangaroo court damns the Football Betting Code beyond recall, let's give it a fair hearing...

-------------------------------------------

Final Verdict (daily results below):

I've been tracking Football Betting Code since 6th December and, in that time, it has proven to be a yo-yo system. Early small profits were consistently wiped out the next day.

More recently I've found the staking to be erratic to say the least, with bigger stakes being applied to claw back deficits. Had Manchester United not been so fortunate to overcome West Brom on Sunday, the service would have been showing a loss of 19% of the bank, with no real idea of how to recover it.

As it was, the bank took a hit of 12.8% in four weeks. Not terrible by any stretch of the imagination. But... But I just get the impression that this isn't a reliable long-term proposition.

The number and range of bets are reasonable, in my opinion, but the staking is scary. Level staking would have also shown a loss.

Ultimately, I'm not happy that we've yet cracked the Football Betting Code, and I can't recommend this one.

Football Betting Code Day Two - 7th December:

OK, so it seems that the advice is to bet 2% of bank in a number of cases, so I'll assume a £1000 bank from the start and have re-calculated day one's bets on that basis.

More winners than losers, but at the odds this wasn't good enough to show a profit on the day, and the bank is now 11% shy of its opening position.

Three winners out of four and, due to some interesting staking, a moderate profit of just £6.46, less than the stake of the lowest staked bet. A pity.

A much better day, with the staking aligned to the winners for a change.

-------------------------------------------

Stake: 2% of bank (£18.49) LOST £18.49

Daily Profit / Loss: -£65.61

After the calm came a storm of big losers, wiping out over 6.5% of the starting bank, and putting the trial over 14% down in total.

-------------------------------------------

Football Betting Code Day Eleven - 28th December:

Wigan vs Arsenal (19:45 GMT)
Bet: Back Arsenal - 1.60 on Betfair
Stake: 3% (£25.77)

Daily Profit / Loss: -£25.77

Running Bank: £833.13

More Christmas misery for followers of the Football Betting Code, as yet another odds on shot gets turned over. Frankly, this is not great tipping... Whilst I accept that Arsenal should have won, if you continually put up away teams at odds on, you're going to lose money. It's just a poor shout.

-------------------------------------------

Football Betting Code Day Twelve- 1st January:

West Brom vs Man United
Bet: Back Man United WIN at 1.60 (Betfair)
Stake: 5% of bank (£41.66) WON Returns £63.32 (profit £21.66)

Tottenham v Fulham
Bet: Back Tottenham WIN at 1.51 (Betfair)
Stake: 2% of bank (£16.66) WON Returns £23.90 (profit £15.83)

West Ham v Wolves
Bet: Lay Wolves at 4.00 (Betfair)
Stake: 0.5% of bank (£4.16) WON Returns £4.16 (profit £4.16)

Daily Profit / Loss: + £39.03

Running Bank: £872.16

A good day, but also very lucky. Going extremely long (5% of bank) on a team that had won just one of eight away games was reckless in my opinion. That West Brom had a legitimate penalty turned down and kept eleven men when they shouldn't have adds to the fortune. Still, all services have to ride that kind of luck I guess. I was unimpressed by the 'get out of jail' staking though, which smacked of loss chasing.

    Hi Matt,
This betting code has been sending me emails for over a month.
Have they only just started because they’ve been saying that they’ve been making massive profits.
for months and i’ve been missing out.

      Hi Mike

I’ve only just registered so I can’t say what they’ve been doing for months. But the ‘you’ve already missed out on this, don’t delay any longer’ ploy is time honoured!
Even when it is true, that generally means you join when they’re due a losing run… 😉

      Matt
