For a multitude of reasons horses can suddenly ‘improve’ on their handicap debuts. How much improvement is found can often depend on who they are trained by. This is where the Trainer 1st Time Handicap Report comes in.

 

 

The data, across a range of metrics, can be filtered over 1 year, 2 year and 5 year periods. 

To add an extra layer of insight into this report, you can also view the data at the racecourse at which the entries have been made over the past 5 years in order to ascertain if trainers are targeting either their best handicapped horses or biggest improvers at certain venues.
