On Sunday, trainer Mark Johnston said that there were various choices for both St Moritz and Sea Lord and he stressed that neither of the pair is a definite starter on July 30th at Glorious Goodwood.
Following victories at Newmarket during the week which earned them each a 3lb penalty, Ladbrokes has the duo as 8-1 equal favourites for the £150,000 handicap. The sponsors have Ransom Note and Oasis Dancer as 10-1 joint favourites with St Moritz.
However, Johnston said, "I don't know what the plans are. I realise that they are well-in there because of penalties, but we will have to think about what the alternatives are.
"I would think Pattern races would be the aim for both horses at some stage, more St Moritz than Sea Lord. They have got several options and, to be honest, I won't think about it until after we see what the handicapper does on Tuesday."
Sea Lord is listed in a Leopardstown handicap on Thursday, while St Moritz is a starter in a Group 3 at the Curragh on Saturday and the International Handicap at Ascot a week later.
