Normal service resumed

Last week I showed how 1 good day can dramatically skew a poorly performing service's figures, thus potentially misguiding potential buyers. Well, in our...

Geegeez Weekly System Trials Roundup 15/07/2015...

we find that last week's mega profits for Super Tips was just a flash in the pan and normal service was resumed this week with a loss of £457, taking them from last week's top earner to this week's biggest loser: ouch!

They weren't alone in losing money, though, as it proved to be a difficult time for many. Three other services all lost over £100 each with Racing Specials continuing to struggle with a further loss of £110 on the week, whilst Pro Racing Tips couldn't find a single winner on their way to shipping £125 and the trio is completed by previous high-flyer On The Nose, who gave back just over half of their previous week's profits, losing £179 since last Wednesday.

There were a couple of small losses elsewhere and the Serve It Up tennis service managed to just break even, despite a 14pt profit on Djokovic's Wimbledon triumph, all of which meant that only three services actually made any money.

You could possibly get a pie and a pint at the races with the Bank Builder's weekly return of £6.35, whilst Trendsmania hauled themselves out of the red courtesy of a 7-day profit of just over £75, but I suppose our top earner of the week could also claimed to have resumed normal service.

That top earner was the Trackerman, Gary Poole, who I've followed personally for some time and despite not having the best of times under review, made just over £103 this week to ensure that his 60-day trial ended in profit. Gary will be the first to admit that the service hasn't flown like he (and I!) expected, but closer analysis shows a final profit of 9.2pts despite some real hard luck along the way.

27 of his 219 Trackerman selections (12.3% SR) were runners-up with seven of them priced in double figures and if just a couple of those runners-up had held on to win, it would have put a totally different perspective on the "review league table"...

So, with Super Tips heading back from whence they came last week, Value Backing is now quite comfortably clear at the top of the list, despite a £50 setback this week. As with any service focusing on "value prices", the rewards from winning bets is quite high, but the losing runs can be quite long on occasions, so I'm pretty confident that there'll not be much sleep lost over this week's deficit!

At the other end of the chart, the game looks up for both Serve It Up and Racing Specials, unless the tennis service has picked the winner of this week's tournament, whilst the racing service need to be making over 2pts a day until the trial ends to cover their losses and subscription fees and I'm quite convinced they can't/won't pull it off!

As per my headline, normal service will once again be resumed next Wednesday, but if you've any queries before then, just drop me a line at the usual support@ address.

Thanks for reading,

P.S I can't run the review side of the site without my small band of loyal volunteer review guys, to whom both myself and Matt are very grateful.

On occasions, however, we get a bit short handed, so if you think you could provide a similar quality standard to our current team and you fancy having a go, send me an email!
