Last year’s corresponding toteplacepot dividend:
£169.80 (7 favourites - 2 winners - 2 placed - 3 unplaced)
1.00: There is not a lot to work with in the opening race following just two renewals, though it's worth reporting that five-year-old won both contests. Just two vintage representatives have been declared this time around, the pick of which is Etaad from Gary Moore's in form yard. Jim Boyle is the only other represented trainer who has been saddling recent winners at the time of writing, whereby PYROCLASTIC is included in the my overnight Placepot mix alongside NUBAR BOY.
Favourite factor: Both favourite have secured Placepot positions to date by snaring gold and bronze medals.
Lingfield record of course winners in the opening event:
1.30: Two more five-year-old contest this second heat of the first race on the card and both horses boast claims on this occasion, namely AJIG and WHAT A DANDY. PACOLITA comes to the gig on hat trick, whilst RAKAAN is the other horse with potential winning claims from my viewpoint in a more competitive heat than the first event.
Favourite factor: This is the second division of the opening contest whereby the same stats apply.
Lingfield record of course winners in the second event on the card:
2.00: MAJESTIC MYLES has failed to become involved his two all weather assignments to date and having won just one of his last 18 starts, Richard Fahey's eight-year-old is not the most obvious winner in the line up I guess, despite his top rating according to the official assessor in this Claiming contest. PEACE SEEKER is marginally preferred accordingly, whilst DOCTOR PARKES should be there or thereabouts at the furlong marker.
Favourite factor: Both (4/5 & 7/4) market leaders have prevailed thus far.
Lingfield record of course winners in the third race:
2.30: 12 of the last 19 runners saddled by Stuart Williams had secured Placepot positions before Wednesday's sport was contested, statistics which include no less than seven winners. Stuart saddles two runners on Lingfield's card on Friday, with BELLE MARE PLAGE involved in this event. GOROKAI looks the main threat on paper, especially with four of David Simckock's last seven runner having obliged.
Favourite factor: Four of the six market leaders have finished in the frame (exact science), statistics which include one (1/4) winner. All six gold medallists thus far were sent off at a top price of 4/1.
3.00: SUPER KID has claimed eight Placepot positions via 13 assignments thus far, albeit only two races have been won during the period which by Godolphin standards, is a poor ratio for horses kept in training as four-year-olds. Saeed's Exceed And Excel gelding has been well placed again whereby another defeat would have SUPER KID heading towards my last chance saloon, sooner rather than later. Only a short head last year stopped four-year-olds from dominating the three renewals to date, whereby excuses for lone vintage representative SUPER KID would be thin on the ground from my viewpoint. CASTILO DEL DIABLO is feared most.
Favourite factor: The inaugural 3/10 favourite obliged, before the last two favourites finished second in 'win only' events.
Lingfield record of course winners in the fifth race:
1/9--Castilo Del Diablo
3.30: Gary Moore has secured three of the last five contests, with course and distance winner GRAND FACILE representing the stable this time around. Seven-year-old boast the same ratios, with FEB THIRTYFIRST being the lone vintage representative. HELMSMAN completes my trio against the remaining four contenders.
Favourite factor: Two of the six favourites have finished in the frame (one 5/2 winner) in the toteplacepot finale.
Lingfield record of course winners in the toteplacepot finale:
1/9--Golly Miss Molly
