Placepot pointers – Tuesday 17 November 2015

It should be noted that placed/unplaced records are in line with the ruling of bookmakers, i.e. only one win and one place in races for 5/6/7 runners etc.

Only Mike Sowersby (3 winners at 2/1** - 7/2 – 13/2) & Charles Pogson (2 winners at 11/1 & 6/1) have saddled more than one winner during the last five meetings.

Both trainers held just one option at the four day stage – and they were both due to contest the same race!  Sure enough, both trainers have offered the green light to their course and distance winners, namely Tennessee Bird and Mondo Cane respectively.

The moral of the story?  Keep the stakes on the low side at the NH meetings at Southwell until better trends emerge throughout the season.
