Overview for Tuesday - please scroll down to the bottom of the page

2.00: Five and six-year-olds have (equally) shared six of the last eight renewals, with four six-year-olds in the line up his time around.  The pick of the sextet should prove to be ANOTHER BILL and BENEFICIAL JOE.  This pair appear to have the race between them, especially as the one five-year-old Bankhall in the field looks well and truly held on the book.

Favourite factor: Seven of the last ten market leaders have claimed toteplacepot positions, statistics which include five winning favourites.  Nine winners during the last decade scored at a top price of 4/1.

2.30: Beaten favourite APACHE PILOT might atone for recent losses in this grade/company on Tuesday.  Maurice Barnes has already saddled a 5/1 winner at the venue this season and his Indian Danehill gelding could register his second success, chiefly at the expense of BROTHER SCOTT, PROUD GAMBLE and SUZY'S MUSIC.

Favourite factor: Last year's inaugural 4/1 favourite duly prevailed.

Hexham record of course winners in the second race:

1/2--Brother Scott (1/9 (good)

3.00: Five year-olds have secured three of the five Placepot positions when represented via 33% of the total number of runners.  Lucinda Russell has her team back in action on Tuesday after a break of the thick end of two weeks, and two five-year-olds represent the trainer on this occasion, namely DAYTRIPPER and MISS BLANCHE.  The other vintage raiders are FAIRY THEATRE and STRATEGIC ISLAND who also hold realistic each way claims, whilst BEYONDTEMPTATION is impossible to leave out of the mix at the overnight stage.

Favourite factor: We still await the first successful favourite via four renewals during which time, the quartet of market leaders all finished out of the frame.  The four winners to date scored at 7/2-9/2-9/2-16/1.

Hexham record of course winners in the third event on the card:

4/12--Beyondtemptation (2 x good to soft & 2 x heavy)

1/2--Sultana Belle (good)

3.30: Stuart Coltherd's runners can rarely be dismissed at this venue, with the recent course and distance winner SEVENTEEN BLACK (scored at 8/1 three and a half weeks ago under good to soft conditions) being the first name on the team sheet.  NOSEY BOX and WEST SHIP MASTER are feared most.

Favourite factor: This is a new race on the Hexham card.

Hexham record of course winners in the fourth contest:

1/6--Nosey Box (soft)

1/3--Seventeen Black (good to soft)

4.00: Jonathan Haynes leads the way at the track this season (see figures) below and the second of his runners on the card (Beyondtemptation was the first) is MAZ MAJECC who got off the mark at the tenth time of asking over course and distance on 7th May.  NORTONTHORPELEGEND could defy top weight in this low grade event, whilst WESTEND THEATRE completes my trio against the other five contenders in this 'dead eight' event.

Favourite factor: This is another new contest on the programme.

Hexham record of course winners in the fifth race:

1/5--Maz Majecc (good)

4.30: Horses carrying 11-4 or less have won the last eight renewals, whilst only one favourite have obliged during the last decade.  The top two horses are passed over via the weight trend, even though both runners could go close on the best of their respective form lines.  The pair have contested an aggregate of 36 races since entering the area reserved for winners, whereby George Fernbeck and Bourne are overlooked in favour of SYBIL GREY, WYFIELD ROSE and NEXT HIGHT.

Favourite factor: Horses have won at 33/1-16/1-14/1 during the study period though that said, the last six market leaders have finished in the frame.

Hexham record of course winners in the toteplacepot finale:

1/4--George Fernbeck (good)

1/5--Solway Sam (good)

1/12--Master Murphy (soft)

All place details offered on my pages relate to an 'exact science', whereby horses that finish third in 5/6/7 runner races (and other such scenarios) are not 'placed' regarding my statistics.
