The Trainer Snippets report shows what an excellent record Keith Dalgleish has with last time out winners. From 175 runners, he's produced 44 winners (25.14%) and 88 places (50.29%) for level stakes profits of 47.57 and 58.15 respectively.
He has two runners which fit this profile today, but I am going to be concentrating on Hamidans Girl at Catterick.
When taking a look at the current form of Hamidans Girl we can see that she has been in consistent form of late, with two placed finishes and two wins in her last six races. Her last two wins were both on good to firm going over today's distance, so it is a slight worry about the soft going here. She has never won on soft, but she has run respectably on it and I am hoping it won't be too much of an inconvenience today.
As well as having a great record with last time out winners, Dalgleish also has nice figures with runners that are coming out again within seven days of their previous race. From 194 runners, he has a strike rate of 18.04% for level stakes profits of 11.09.
Early leaders here over this distance have an excellent record, with 25.08% of them going on to win the race, for level stakes profits of 260.28.
Hamidans Girl was handily placed in her win last time out and I expect jockey Paul Mulrennan to try and be right up there again today. She has a prime draw for this (see below) and it would appear that this will give her the best chance of victory.
The Draw report shows that it is high numbers that are definitely favoured here over this distance. They are showing a level stakes profit for both the win and place sections, and with Hamidans Girl drawn in stall 11, this has to be seen as a positive.
