Race of the Day - 16:00 Salisbury

This is a good quality fillies handicap, being run over ten furlongs on good going at Salisbury.

Dubara is the current favourite and is trained by Luca Cumani. Cumani has been among the winners recently and also has a good long term record here at Salisbury. Jamie Spencer takes the ride on Dubara and he too has a good record here. Over the last five years he's had seven winners (18.92%) and 16 places (43.24%) from 37 runners, for level stakes profits of 4.73 and 0.92 respectively.

Hidden Charms comes into a handicap race for the first time, having only had the one run so far, a comfortable win in a maiden race at Wolverhampton. David Simcock has a very impressive record with last time out winners, as he's had 37 winners (26.06%) and 72 places (50.70%) from 142 runners, for level stakes profits 28.92 and 37.69 respectively. He also has a very good record here at Salisbury.

The Shortlist report is available to all users on a Tuesday, and it shows how well suited Perfect Quest is by today's conditions. She has a score of 11 on this report, with four sections of green, so appears to have a lot in her favour here today. Her only race here was a seventh placed finish, however that was on soft going and she looks sure to appreciate the firmer going this time around.

The Instant Expert report confirms the good showing of Perfect Quest, and also shows she is four pounds higher than for her last victory.

Billesdon Bliss is next best on this report, with two sections of green and one of amber. She appears at home on this course with one win and another place from her three runs, so it would be no surprise to see her in the mix of things.

The Pace report shows that early leaders here over this distance have a very good record, with 17.42% of them going on to win the race, for a level stakes profit of 30.54.

Billesdon Bliss is always very handy in her races and looks the most likely to be the early leader in this, as she has easily the highest pace score.
