Race of the Day - 16:35 Doncaster

Horses For Courses is the report that is available to all users on a Friday, and it shows that Muntadad for Roger Fell has done well in his races at Doncaster. He has won two out of the three at nice prices so has yielded level stakes profits of 42.00 (win) and 54.38 (place).

Muntadab was a winner last time out on soft going over seven furlongs which was a welcome return to form after some below par performances (albeit some of those were in strong races). The soft conditions at Doncaster look sure to suit and now he has returned to winning ways the extra four pounds he has to carry today may not be enough to stop him going in again.

When expanding the trainer form from within the racecard we can see that it is encouraging. Fell has had a few winners recently and he has an excellent over record here at Doncaster, where he is 5/19 (26.32%) over the last year for 48.50 points.

He has a reasonably good record with last time out winners and a brilliant one with horses running over the shorter distances.

Muntadab comes out well when looking at the Instant Expert report, with three sections of green and one of amber and as mentioned earlier he is four pounds higher than for his last win.

It is worth noting that he is one of only two runners in the field with a great section for the going, and that could prove significant.

Early leaders here over this distance have the best record with 18% of them going on to win the race for a level stakes profit of 50.85.

Muntadab is usually quite prominent in his races and he made virtually all last out and if he can get away well I would expect Tony Hamilton to try and do the same again here.
