Race of the Day - 19:10 Kempton

The Trainer Snippets report shows that Mark Rimell does particularly well with his runners that race on the all-weather courses. From 27 runners on the artificial surfaces, he's had six winners (22.22%) and ten places (37.04%), for level stakes profits of 55.75 and 66.48 respectively. This has also produced an Impact Value of 2.11, meaning he is more than twice as likely as average to have the winner.

Magic Mirror runs for him today at Kempton in a seven-furlongs fillies' handicap.

Magic Mirror is a Dutch Art filly who has been in good form of late, winning two and being placed in another two of her last five races. It is notable how much better she is on the all-weather, as she is 0/8 on the turf and 4/10 for 55.25 points on the all-weather.

She also appears to like it here at Kempton as her last two victories came here, one of them over this distance.

The Trainer Snippets on the racecard show what an excellent record Rimell has at Kempton over the last year from the few runners he's sent here. He's managed four winners (50%) and six places (75%) from eight runners, for level stakes profits of 57.25 and 72.08 respectively and an Impact Value of 5.03.
