The Trainer Jockey Combo Stats show a strong performance for the combination of Ruth Carr and James Sullivan over the last year at Catterick. They have had seven winners (29.17%) and 14 places (58.33%) from 24 runners, for level stakes profits of 25.25 and 36.00 respectively. This has also produced an Impact Value of 2.52, meaning they are more than two and a half times more likely than average to win.
When expanding the trainer and jockey form by clicking the respective icons on the racecard, it confirms that they both individually have an excellent record here at Catterick as well. In fact, Carr is showing a level stakes profit from all of her runners here over the past five years.
Taking a look at the Full Form of Melaniemillie for the past year shows that she has slipped quite a long way down the ratings and that has helped her to show some good recent form, with two second places and a win last time out over course and distance. That was on soft going but she has run well on good to firm before, and she is just two pounds higher than for that win in what is a similar class of race, therefore she looks to have a very good chance here today.
Early leaders here over this distance have a great record, with 23.33% of them winning the race for a level stakes profit of 118.91.
There doesn't appear to be any real front runners in the field but a few of them are usually prominent, including Melaniemillie, therefore I am hoping that Sullivan gets her out quickly and is able to stay handy through the first few furlongs. If he is able to do this I am hopeful of a big run and think she is capable of making it two in two.
