Madame Bounty makes The Shortlist for today with an impressive score of 13, which includes four sections of green and one of amber. This Bahamian Bounty filly looks nicely suited to today's conditions and has things in her favour for a big run.
When looking at the recent form of Madame Bounty we can see that she had been going well until her last two appearances. However, they were both in conditions that don't suit her (one on the all weather and the other on soft going). A return to Windsor (a course she has won at previously), and good to firm conditions look perfect and I am hopeful of a good performance from her here today.
Clicking on the trainer icon below the horse's name on the racecard with show you the detail behind the form of the respective trainer. Ed Walker has been in great form over the past two weeks, with four winners (20.00%) and eight places (40.00%) from 20 runners, for level stakes profits of 14.00 and 13.05 respectively.
Walker also has a useful record here at Windsor with a strike rate of 28% over the past year which has resulted in a level stakes profit and an Impact Value of 2.52.
The Pace report shows that early leaders here over this distance have an excellent record, with 24.77% of them going on to win the race for a level stakes profit of 131.87. Prominent runners also show a healthy level stakes profit, so it appears to be a good advantage to get out of the stalls well.
Madame Bounty has had a few problems with this in a couple of her recent races, however, when she does break away well she invariably runs a good race. She is drawn in stall seven and with higher numbers favoured, she has a good spot. Liam Keniry rode her when she was victorious at Windsor last time and I am hoping he can get her away from the stalls quickly, as if he can, she will be tough to get past and a current price of 8/1 looks inviting.
