The Horses For Courses report is available to all registered users on a Friday, and it shows what an excellent record Eljaddaaf has when racing at Kempton. He has won four (50%) out of his eight races here for win and place level stakes profits of 13.00 and 12.75 respectively.
He races in a competitive looking six-furlong handicap here today.
If we 'filter' the Full Form report to course and distance it shows an even better return. He has won three of the four races here over six furlongs with the only time he didn't win being when he was reluctant to race and returned lame.
If we filter it on just the distance we can see that six-furlongs look his optimum trip, winning five and being placed in seven of 11 races.
The most recent form of Eljdaddaaf has been poor, but that includes two races on the turf (a surface he doesn't run nearly as well on) and then when fading inside the final furlong last time out over seven furlongs. A return to six furlongs and a surface he clearly relished will hopefully bring out the best in him, and he races from a dwindling handicap mark now as well.
The current form of the trainer and jockey have both been good.
Trainer Dean Ivory has managed five winners (16.67%) and eight places (26.67%) from his last 30 runners, for level stakes profits of 10.25 and 3.35 respectively and an Impact Value of 1.53.
Jockey Robert Winston has extremely impressive figures for the last couple of weeks, having five winners (27.78%) and seven places (38.89%) from just 18 runners which have yielded level stakes profits of 13.00 and 12.40 respectively, and an Impact Value of 2.49.
Ejladdaaf looks nicely suited to today's conditions when looking at the Instant Expert report, with three sections of green and two of amber. It is worth noting, however, that although he has dropped down the handicap, he is still eight pounds higher than for his last win.
The other runner to come out well on this report is Sparkalot, with four sections of green.
The Pace report shows that early leaders here over this distance have a good record, with 18.68% of them winning the race for a level stakes profit of 169.40 and an Impact Value of 1.68.
The early lead looks likely to be between front-runners Rely On Me and Temeraire. Although Temeraire has to come from an unfavourable draw in stall 11.
Eljaddaaf is generally a horse that is held up and I would expect Winston to do the same here again today, although he does have a good draw in stall 11.
