Risk Free Money, and Writer Needed…

Two things today. Firstly, I've had a few emails from people asking how this whole 'matched betting' risk-free money thing works. The thing is, it's quite difficult to explain and a good bit easier to demonstrate. So that's what I've done.

In the short video below, I make £6.95 without ever having any risk whatsoever. In fact, I still don't even know what the outcome of the match was... nope, curiosity just got the better of me. It was a draw, so I have the money in my Skybet account (screenshot below the video).

Here's what happened. I got £33.33 in my SkyBet account, and I lost £26.35 from my losing lay bet on Betfair. That meant a profit of £33.33 - £26.35 = £6.98

Free money :-)

Free money 🙂

What do you think? Well, obviously, I'm not going to retire on that, and nor are you. But it is free money, and that's hard to crab. More importantly, by actually DOING this, you'll get a far better understanding of how it works. And then... well, there are literally hundreds of other similar opportunities.

I've highlighted a dozen or so in this report, which are collectively worth around £425 in risk-free cash. And if you register with geegeez, you can get us to do all the boring admin for you as well. Nice! Here's the link for that (be sure to keep the Offers box ticked!).

Your first 30 days for just £1

If you use our sign up tool, you'll have everything ready to go within 24 hours and could make a couple of hundred quid over the weekend easily enough (clue, you do a couple or three in parallel!)

I'll be doing a few more of those videos over the coming days and weeks, so if that's of interest, do look out for them.

********

Now then, the other thing I wanted to mention today is that I'm looking for a writer/tipster. It's the start of the Premier League this weekend, and there will be a million ways to bet on those ten games. If you're a football writer with a proven track record of online articles, then I'd love to hear from you. Just drop me a line at info@geegeez.co.uk with a couple of links to your work.

I'll be back later with my placepot thoughts, and tomorrow with details of a really worthwhile free bet for those first Premier League games... as well as, of course, a look ahead to the weekend's racing!

Do leave a comment and let me know if the video above was useful or not. After all, there's little point me recording them if they don't add any value. 😉

Hi Matt…it’s far too complicated for me! I’ll just read your stuff which is very good by the way! Kemal

      Hi Kemal

Fair enough. It’s actually not that complicated at all, but you do need to ‘try’ to understand it! 😉

Glad you enjoy reading the general waffle!!

It should work on iPad, Jim. It’s a youtube video, so shouldn’t be an issue.

      Best,

Hi Matt This bonus bagging thing is fine if you want lots of accounts which I don,t. It means sticking a lot of cash about as far as I can see, as I only bet for pleasure small bets on horses then other sports put me off, although i enjoy football never bet on it. Enjoy the site and a lot of what you do to help with bets.

      Hi Bill

Not at all. You do need to be able to cover the lay side of the bet, and also to place a qualifying bet. But, for instance last night, my exposure was nothing on the skybet side (totally free bet) and £26.35 on the betfair side. Even if you only bet small and for pleasure, I can’t see why anyone would stare genuine gratis beer chips in the face! 😉

p.s. Glad you enjoy the site, and thanks a lot for sharing that.

    Hi Matt,
The problem is if you already have accounts open with these bookies, as there are very few offers once you’re “in”

    • Matt Bisogno says:

It’ll never please everyone, John. Though, that said, there are literally hundreds of offers out there. If you’re done with the bookie ones, how about casino, poker, and so on? I don’t know too much about those, but plenty of people are making plenty of cash from them…

    Hi Matt,

I do this “free money” thing quite a bit & you’re right, it’s great to take free money of the bookies for a change. It won’t make you a millionaire, but it helps top up the war chest for your normal betting, & can take tha bit of the edge off those bad days we all have.

I have a question. In your video, you get the odds off the Oddstrawler site, which I also use. However, you then go off to another site to do the calculation of the lay stake. Why don’t you just use the calculator on the OT site by clicking on the round blue “i” button next to the rating, then the “Match Calculator” button on the pop up window? Any particular reason?

    Keep up the good work!
    Pete

      Hi Pete

      Thanks for your comment.

Regarding OddsTrawler calculator, just ignorance on my part when I recorded the video. I’ve actually updated the report now to include reference to that calculator.

      Best,
      Matt
