Roman De Brut has been ultra consistant since joining our yard and we are hopeful he can continue this form today. He is dropping back a furlong (due to lack of race opportunities) but has won over this C&D. Apprentice races are often difficult to predict but if our young jockey can get him into a good position from a bad draw then we think he has a good each-way chance again."
Mark Loughnane

01/11/16 1st 11/2

"For Shia and Lula was a bit disappointing last time out, but the jockey said he was taken on for the lead so did too much in front. Today's race looks quite competitive for a 0-60 and we would fear that Richard Fahey will be able to bring out more improvement in Dark Confidant, but with Adam Kirby back on board we are hopeful we can recapture his previous run and at least be involved for the place money."
Mark Loughnane

"Double Treasure - Has been a lunatic! Mad keen and totally headstrong so despite having plenty of ability needs to settled better in his races, when he does is one to watch - hopefully that might be today."
Jamie Snowden

01/11/16 2nd 11/2

"Good-to-soft ground looks ideal - only career win came on this surface. Dropped into a seller here too so that helps and we are hoping the first-time hood helps her settle a bit better. Does have a bit to find at the weights with 3-4 others though, but headgear should help as does Anna's 5lb claim. Small place chance, but Nonno Giulio looks the clear one to beat."
Mick Appleby

01/11/16 2nd 11/1

"Hermosa Vaquera - First time over this distance and on a track she runs well at. Useful 10lbs taken off with the jockey's claim and another of ours that heads here fit from the flat. Tight race, but hoping the horse can at least hit the frame. "
Gary Moore

31/10/16 2nd 9/2

"Guards Chapel - Trappy little contest, so a tough one to call. Fit from the flat and 1lb below last winning mark over hurdles which should hopefully give him every chance, while this step up to 2m4f should suit as generally finishes his races off well. Decent place claims if all 8 run."
Gary Moore

31/10/16 1st 3/1

"Benenden - Unsuited by Carlisle last time and a return to a flat track will really help him. Is still potentially well-handicapped and will be much happier on better ground. No reason why he can't run well here."
Michael Scudamore

31/10/16 2nd 14/1

"Dawnieriver: Won her last two - this is a step up in trip, but that should be in her favour. This does look a tricky race, but she is in great form so hoping for another solid run."
Michael Scudamore

31/10/16 1st 8/1

"Graasten - The horse is well - this looks a good opportunity for him. So as long as the ground is not too fast and the pace is strong, should have every chance."
