Stat of the Day

SotD Update, 10th to 15th August 2020

A brutally honest assessment of the week was that it was dreadful.

The only positive I can find about a sequence of results reading 875443 is that they did at least improve as the week went on, but that's about it.

To mix a few sporting metaphors, it's now half-time for August and we're behind the 8-ball. Strike rate is below par, we're almost 5pts down and we need to hope it's a game of two halves.

All is not lost, however, we've plenty of opportunities ahead of us, starting tomorrow.

we all have poor runs.I am sure this is a temporary blip and providing a review is undertaken and mistakes are noted and rectified I am sure the winners will soon return.

It’s not a temporary blip, it’s part of the ups and downs of punting. No review needs to be undertaken, there are no mistakes to note and/or rectify, we just dust ourselves down and go again.

The MO doesn’t change because we had a barren week. My approach is tried and tested and the winners will return in due course.
