SOTD Weekly Updates

SotD Update, 15th to 20th August 2016

August continues to be a bit of a rollercoaster with alternate good and bad weeks. No winners from five plus a non-runner doesn't look good and didn't feel great either, but with all 6 going off/being withdrawn at much shorter odds than advised, the value was clear to see.

When you're taking price that are on average 165% of SP, you will make money in the long run, it's just that when you go 0/5 over a full week that it takes a bit of swallowing!

  1. Everyone calls me Paul says:

Is that 165% of SP after Rule 4s Chris? I’ve always thought that there might be a back to lay play on SotD, but would probably need significantly increased stakes to make worthwhile.

    • Chris Worrall says:

Yes, I always quote my prices after R4 deductions, but we’re not always getting as much above Sp as we did last week, so tread carefully.
