Stat of the Day : Update

Stat of the Day Update: 17/08/15 to 22/08/15

The last week for SotD was pretty similar to the week before. Both weeks had a non-runner, leaving us with five selections for the week and both kicked off with us going 2 from 2, but then finding nothing in the latter half of the week.

That said, both weeks were profitable and a couple of things to note from the past 7 days: firstly that Monday's winner was our 350th to date and that Tuesday's non-runner, reappeared on Saturday and won. Sometimes it's worth backing my non-runners next time out.

Wednesday's winner set us on the road towards 400 winners and also ensured another profitable week, so it's not all bad, and lastly that non-runners exempted, next Saturday will be our 1200th selection.

Are there any records on the performance of non runners and/or beaten selections in their next couple of appearances?

    • Matt Bisogno says:

Short answer, Barry. No. Impossible to track without your own database/notes and a LOT of time. It’s certainly not possible through Geegeez, I’m afraid.
