Stat Of The Day

SotD Update, 29th April to 4th May 2019

Although April ended with us on a bit of a cold run (just 2 wins from 13 picks), we still finished the month with more than acceptable figures showing a strike rate of almost 27% and a similar ROI, giving us the kind of returns we've achieved historically.

May, however, has started off really well and with three winners (two at very good prices) from four already on the board for the month, we look well set for the coming weeks.

A particularly pleasing aspect of the week was finding a couple bigger race winners, as these are races I tend not to "tip" in regularly, Saturday's winner being the best example at 6/1!

This was our 30th winner of the year (we're not even at 100 runners yet) and our 620th overall and left us tantalisingly close to breaking the 550pts profit barrier. Hopefully, I'll be telling you about that next week!

    Well Done Chris,
Lasting the test of times is the key in my view, and you have certainly done that through the ups and downs, it has and indeed is great fun to follow you. Keep up the great work!

We just work along the lines of not fixing things that aren’t broken.
Plus the more tools Geegeez add to the site, the more help I’m getting to find the picks.

And the fact that we don’t get pelters off the readers when we’re on a cold spell helps to reduce the pressure to find winners.
