Saturday TV Trends: 7th April 2018

As we gear-up towards the Aintree Grand National meeting in a few weeks the LIVE Saturday action does take a bit of a step down in quality at this time of year. However, we've still got seven races to take in LIVE on ITV4 and a bit of something for everyone with jumping from Kelso, plus AW action from Kempton.

The Listed Snowdrop Fillies' Stakes at Kempton is the weekend's feature contest - a race that has been won by a 4 year-old in 12 of the last 14 runnings.

So, as always, we’ve got all the LIVE races covered from a trends and stats angle - use the key trends to help whittle down the runners and find the best profiles of past winners.

"Ballylare - Claimed out of the John Best yard a few weeks ago. Therefore, not had the horse long, but seems well and based on his form should have a decent each-way chance here, but we'll obviously learn a lot more about the horse after this."

"Plutocracy - Well drawn in stall 1 and gets in here off the same mark as when a fair third last time out at Kempton over this trip. Not won since 2013, but a very consistent horse that is never far away in his races. 3 recent winners are feared, but we head here with another solid-looking each-way chance."
