Lazarus, Sinatra, Tyson, and now Bisogno... they'll all tell you, dear reader, that one of the big problems of making a comeback is that the world moves on without you, and trying to hit the ground running again takes a while.
So it is that, with match fitness in doubt, I return to the equine blogging fraternity for your amusement, entertainment and - let's hope - profit.
As many of you will know, a hardy perennial of the Nag3 blog is the Friday Fun slot, which Gavin has now made his own. In order to differentiate (because you can have too much fun on a Friday!), I've bastardised the English language somewhat to bring you Geegeez' ferry first Fursday Fun. And it's a reet Bobby Dazzler!
Now I'll need to apologize to Robbie Williams fans and people who don't like the use of expletives in advance, but this is just pure class. When I first watched it, I couldn't believe that it was for real...
Here's what happens:
1. Robbie Williams gets pushed off stage
2. The incident is dissected as though it was a breach of national security
The joys in this clip are - obviously - that Robbie gets pushed off stage, but the 'The Office' type documentary post mortem is some of the best unwitting comedy I've seen in many a long day trawling youtube!!!
For the record, I have a secret soft spot for Robbie's swagger. But that anyone can take themselves this seriously beggars belief...
I'm off to Krakow for a few days later today, but I'll be back on Monday with a series throughout next week on my six trainers to follow this jumps season and, more importantly, when to follow them. There's some cracking trends, and you really ought to keep these guys in mind. So stay tuned for that.
In the meantime, have a great weekend,
p.s. Don't forget to sign up in the box top right to ensure you get notified of the trainers to follow next week, and all of my other occasionally interesting verbal diarrheoa!
