As you know if you've been following me for any length of time, dear reader, I'm proud of my record of five profitable TrainerStats (flat or jumps) seasons in a row (from jumps 2006/7 to present).
As you also know, winning at racing is not easy, but it is possible, with discipline and a good set of rules or systems.
But I'll be honest with you: last Summer, with TrainerFlatStats, we only just stayed in the black in the end. I mean, sure, some of the savvy betting exchange players did better than the bare results. But I wasn't happy.
It's definitely tougher on the flat than over jumps to profit solely from trainer patterns. So before the end of last year, I started looking for another approach for this flat season.
I was already planning to do something with the effects of the draw, which - again - you probably know has such a major bearing on the outcome of many races. And, if you were reading last season, you'll have seen how we profited frequently on the blog from backing such well drawn horses.
Hopefully you've already downloaded a copy of the AW Draw Effects report, from www.flatracingprofiles.com. If not, why not?! ;o)
In there, you'll see quite a few less obvious biases, as well as the usual 5f and 6f impacts.
Anyway, like I say, that's what I was planning to go with this season, when I received an email from a guy I'd never heard of before, called David Peat.
David told me he loved my stuff - aah, flattery! - and that he had some information that he thought might be of interest to my readers.
Although I was sceptical at first (I get literally scores of such offers each year, as you can probably imagine), I agreed to take a look.
When I did... Wow!! What David showed me was superb. It was clear to me that here was a man who indulged his passion for horse racing, and his work is a real labour of love. I don't like to admit it, but it even made the detail in TrainerTrackStats look 'half-baked'.
Anyway, I might be rambling... long story short, I promised to try to do something with David. And now I'm delighted to be able to show you what I was so gobsmacked by.
I think its some of the best research I've seen to date and, if you're already signed up at www.flatracingprofiles.com, then you'll be getting an email any time now to tell you where to download this.
If you're not yet registered, I promise you that you'll be pleased you took the time to so do. Excuse the video, and just pop your name and email in the box to the right at www.flatracingprofiles.com - you'll be sent directly to the download page. (There's a bunch of other free reports there too, and still more to come!)
When you've had a look at this stuff, please take a second to write a comment below to tell me what you think, both of the Horse Profiles and of the AW Draw Effects report.
Hope you're enjoying the sunshine and the freebies - life's good sometimes, no?!
