Geegeez Weekly System Trials Roundup for 07/10/2015

As we enter October, it's a tricky phase for any tipster with the Flat season winding down and the NH season starting to get going in earnest. This means many tipping services hold back a little and don't send out too many selections and this has been the case this week, with little activity/movement from our current crop of triallists.

There were just two notable amounts of profit made over the last seven days with our best performance coming from Max Racing Tips who made £48.90 in their second week to almost bring themselves out of the red, as you'll see later and they achieved this by hitting three winners from just ten selections (as seen in our review here).

The other noteworthy return was the £40.94 made during the final week of our trial of the Percentage Form Edge, a service that struggled for much of its time with us, but was coming good over the last couple of weeks. PFE were unlucky at times, too, it has to be said and you can see how/why in our full review of the service.

There were also three sets of losses to tell you about, as firstly the high-flying All Weather Profits service lost £45.35 over the week, but a quick glance at James' coverage of this service shows that they're still in a healthy position, unlike Bookies Enemy No.1 who have kicked off their second stint with us with more of a whimper than a bang.

We reviewed this one in the summer of 2014 and it was spectacularly successful and has made good money ever since, but all services have poor weeks and despite a loss of £49.00 on the week, this review will be worth watching, if past form is anything to go by.

And where there are winners, there has to be losers and this week's wooden spoon "winners" have tasted both sides of that equation in successive weeks as The Sports Guru has gone from hero to zero in the past seven days.

They were our top performers in last week's update blog, but with a loss approaching £125 this time around, they're at the bottom of the pile by some way. David Sutton has the full lowdown on this multi-sports service.

So, how does all of this affect the overall position?

As always, clicking the name of a service will take you to their homepage for more information,
whilst direct links to all the reviews are available above, too.

As you can see, the £45 loss incurred by All Weather Profits is only a minor bump in the road for them and with Elite Ratings System (more about that one, soon) having left us last week, AWP now sit well clear of all pursuers at the top of the tree.

There are no real dramas at the other end of the scale and we bade a farewell to 3 reviews (2 services) this week, but we were unfortunately unable to recommend any of them. Draw Day Demolition put two of their strategies up for trial, but after 60 days, our reviewer Phil was unable to give either of them the thumbs up. Here's why he couldn't approve the DC strategy and this is the review for the BTD angle.

The other service that failed to impress/shine was the Percentage Form Edge who flattered to deceive at times, yet despite a trial that made a loss, our man Ernest was loathe to reject the service completely and offered some thought on how things could be improved. You can read his thoughts right here.

So as services drop off the review table, we have to replace them and I've at least one racing service and one football angle lined up for next week so stay tuned to the Geegeez System Trials section of the site.

Until next week, all the best,
Chris & the review team

Great song. I’m seeing Bob in concert at the Royal Albert Hall in a couple of week’s time – can’t wait!
Couldn’t agree more about the autumn months being a difficult time for tipsters. Starting to think I should of waited until the Jumps season proper before I started proofing my own selections on the forum. But no – ever the optimist I decided to plough ahead anyway!
