Lingfield:

Robert Tart has attracted so many plaudits over the last twelve months that it is difficult to know where to start in attributing his success thus far.  Perhaps here at Lingfield is as good as anywhere given his 31% strike rate has produced nearly six points of level stake profits.  Although Robert has ridden three more winners at Wolverhampton (eleven in total) than at Lingfield, his strike rate is just 17% at Dunstall Park compared to his impressive ratio at the Surrey venue.

Southwell:

3.00: Just one of the three favourites (winner at 8/11) has finished in the frame to date.  Mark Johnston saddled the other two (7/1 & 4/1) scorers and the trainer is represented by Corn Snow on this occasion.

3.30: Although two of the four contests have been won by (11/4 & 10/11) favourites, the other four market leaders all finished out of the frame.

4.00: Two of the three favourites have prevailed thus far, the biggest priced winner being returned at just 4/1.

4.30: We still await the first successful market leader following three renewals during which time, though three of the four favourites have secured toteplacepot positions.

5.00: The same stats for the 4.30 race apply here, albeit in a totally different contest.

5.30: The three market leaders have secured two gold and one silver medal to date, whilst all three winners carried a minimum burden of 9-3.

‘Cammidge Trophy’: The last seven winners have carried weights of 9-2 or more, whilst just one favourite has prevailed via the last ten contests.  One three-year-old were involved at the penultimate entry stage, though no junior winners have been recorded since Falcon Hill prevailed at 11/1 for Mark Johnston back in 2002.  That said, only seven three-year-olds have subsequently contested the event.
