World Hurdle Tipping Competition: Day 3

Who will replace Big Buck's as World Hurdle winner?

Who will usurp Big Buck's as World Hurdle winner?

A fantastic response over the first two days of over 220 entries each day. The truth is I didn't expect such a bumper entry and I'm still wading through the selections to work out the leader board!

I'll have an update later today, and will append it to this post. As well as that, I'll have the full standings after day 3 (i.e. today) tomorrow.

Somerby 9/2 and Docofthebay 7/1 were the pair of winners from yesterday afternoon’s two races.

Well done to THREE David’s: Wagstaff, Walker and topmandj, and also to Steve Morris.

That quartet claim bragging rights, with a tidy return of 11.5 units on the day.

Day one had produced winners at 5/1 and 3/1 (after Rule 4).

Today's races are:

3.10 Musselburgh

4.30 Lingfield

(apologies some jockey colours are not displaying properly, we're still in beta mode there!)

GOOD LUCK FOR DAY THREE!

Matt

4:30 Safwaan ,form franked from Lto Gunner Will won handily earlier on card CD,has put in some of the quickest times most recently, btm wgt with alot of pace in the race to run at,should go in!

  18. Matt Bisogno says:

Golden Sparkle wins the Musselburgh leg! Fourteen of you had that one, and I think we have a clear leader…

  19. Matt Bisogno says:

Understory wins under a brilliant pace-controlling ride from Hayley Turner, and returned at 12/1. Well done to thirteen of you who found that one.

Full updated scores on the doors tomorrow morning. All to play for!

    Matt

  20. Matt Bisogno says:

Looks like Tony Derrick is the current leader, with three of the six winners (one on each day) and a profit of 18.5 points currently.

Daithi is next in with 17 points, and Mike ‘mallrats’ is third on 15 points.

Seventy players currently have a positive ROI, which is more than can be said for your judge, who is languishing on -6 just now… ahem.
