2026 proved to be a difficult Cheltenham Festival for punters, and this punter was no exception.
What follows is my traditional bearing of soul - in wagering terms - for your entertainment and, oftentimes, amusement.
No long intros, let's crack on. [Feel free to share how you got on in the comments below ]

2023 [No video: won £54]

Geegeez threw up some very useful stats for Cheltenham 26. More an antepost player – but the day to day stuff was more than helpful. Look forward to any headgear improvements and the database growing. A strong talking point from this year.
One that didn’t show up on the trainer snippets was the trainer change Willie Mullins when France to Uk or Ireland. He has had a formidable record this season first run from other trainers. For some reason his Triumph 4yo on debut from Auteuil did not come up on reports – perhaps his record wouldn’t be so impressive if they all counted from France to Ireland? Not sure – was my thinking anyway so left! Alas. Maybe all French form doesn’t show up in same way.
Hi CDB, unfortunately when the previous run is overseas we don’t catch the trainer change as we don’t have full form for those overseas runs. It’s a very good point.

Good Tues. and Weds. for me and an OK Fri. (two winners each day) but on the Thurs I looked at the runners in the morning and thought “Don’t think I will bother today” Did I listen. Did I XXXX. Still, profit overall for a change.
Thanks Matt, I value these Videos and the learnings we can make to improve. Get well soon.
Good piece Matt
I did my normal Win L15 & E/W L15 alongside the Placepot (via Tix natch)
Tuesday 2 Wins & 3 Places
Wednesday 0 Wins & 3 Places
Thursday 1 Win and a NR & 1 Place
Friday 2 Wins & 4 Places
So apart from Thursday I showed a profit every day – Success, much owed to Instant Expert
Well done, John, excellent results – and thanks for using Tix also!
